GEMINI GHP

Total use of linear motor technology opens up new dimensions in profiling hob cutters. Naturally, the dressing process benefits from the linear motor technology in the GEMINI ghp. The grinding processes can be custom programmed using variable infeed and therefore make full use of the capabilities of the latest grinding wheel technology. High oscillation frequency, the elegant kinematic machine concept and mechanical stability make the GEMINI ghp Schneeberger’s top of the range model.

The oscillating grinding spindle is the heart of the system. Thanks to interchangeable grinding heads, with and without counter support, grinding wheels with diameters of 25 to 120 mm can be used. The high-performance control processes precise track points along the back off clearance grinding; minimal motion of components and modern linear motors technology translate it into mechanically high and optimized dynamics. Setup for new tools is supported by probing cycles and is therefore highly efficient.

CORVUS GDS

CORVUS BPP

The 6-axis CNC grinding machine CORVUS bpp has a vertically-oscillating axis. All profiling tasks in which the grinding disc must oscillate in a vertical direction are no longer a problem thanks to the CORVUS bpp. Schneeberger’s revolutionary concept with this powerful machine provides outstanding grinding results. The zero points on the tools are found automatically by the high-performance 3D sensor.

Magnetic clamping plates, a truing unit and a wide range of additional options enable efficient and profitable operation in areas where this was previously unthinkable.

Applications for the CORVUS bpp are regrinding car body cutting blades using torus discs in oscillation grinding and profiling broaches of all types and sizes.

CORVUS CTYPE

CORVUS cType, grinding with higher performance for numerous applications. The machine bed made from the latest generation of polymer concrete provides tremendous stability, is resistant against thermal expansion and allows high acceleration and high speeds for all axes.

The grinding head consists of a high-performance electric spindle (up to 50 kW peak) with internal cooling. The powerful cooler also contributes to thermal stability, especially if the material is highly abrasive.
